We love Youth at Westside and our goal is to reach them with the love of Christ and then teach them through God’s Word how to love others. Check out the opportunities below for youth to get plugged in to learn about God.
Check us out and receive important youth alerts on Facebook.
At 9:30am, the 9th-12th grade teens meet in the Student Auditorium for Bible Study. The 6th-8th grade teens meet in Room 205 for their Bible study. Our students are being led through the “Fuel” program, which incorporates music, video, large group and small group discussions to take the youth on a journey through the entire Bible – start to finish. At 11:00am, students are encouraged to attend worship service.
Crossfire, 5:00pm-7:00pm (This Fall)
Sunday nights we offer our new “Ignite” program. This program will focus on discipleship. Students in 6-12th grade meet in the Student Auditorium every Sunday night for an evening of fun, food, and small groups. We start the night with fellowship time, followed by a short devotion, and then break up into many different small groups. Small groups offer something for everyone. Some examples would be: guys tracts, girls tract, drama, creation, financial, etc.
(During the summer months, the students meet on Sunday nights and we change things up a bit from the activities we do normally during the school year, we include things like “theme nights” and other fun stuff.
AFTERSHOCK, 2:45pm-5:45pm (This Fall)
Every Wednesday during the school year, students show up at the Family Life Center Gym for crazy games like dodgeball, floor hockey, basketball, volleyball, tank & operator, kickball, and any other game we can play. After game time, students dig into something to eat like lasagna, hot dogs, sandwiches, chili, tacos, or whatever else we decide to eat that day. After we eat, students participate in Bible studies led by our high schoolers. Students also have the option to do homework during game time or play the games.
