Our Mission

Make disciples of all nations.

Who We Are

We are a family of imperfect people trying to follow Jesus together. Most of us didn't grow up here, and we come from different backgrounds, cultures and even countries. Although we don't agree on everything, we do stand together in agreement with the truth of the gospel and what Jesus has done for us. We would love to have you join us!

Our Vision

Our vision is to be a people known for loving God, others, and serving our city. We seek to create a community of connected believers and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Our Beliefs

The following statements summarize our basic beliefs. To view the larger doctrinal statement that we adhere to, please visit The Baptist Faith and Message.

The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to man. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. Therefore, all Scripture is totally true and trustworthy.

There is one and only one living and true God. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

God as Father reigns with providential care over His universe, His creatures, and the flow of the stream of human history according to the purposes of His grace. God is Father in truth to those who become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ, He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He honored the divine law by His personal obedience, and in His substitutionary death on the cross, He made provision for the redemption of men from sin.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He exalts Christ. He convicts men of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. He enlightens and empowers the believer and the church in worship, evangelism, and service.

God made humans—male and female—in His own image. Set apart as His image bearers, every human being is sacred, including from the womb. All men and all women, bearing the image of God, are meant to represent God in His creation. God declares the created order to be very good, distinguishing men and women as His agents to care for, manage and govern over it. They enjoy equal access to God by faith in Christ Jesus and are both called to move beyond passive self-indulgence to significant private and public engagement in family, church and civic life. By his free choice man chose to disobey and sin against God and brought sin into the human race.

Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the price for our wrongdoings. God raised him from the dead and because of this, we know Him to be King and Lord. Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and this free gift is offered by grace to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for those who believe.

The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. It's an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers, who gather together for instruction, worship, service, and fellowship.

Christian baptism is the immersion of a follower of Jesus in water.  It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus.

God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood or adoption. Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in a covenant commitment for a lifetime. The husband and wife are of equal worth before God, since both are created in God's image. Children, from the moment of conception, are a blessing and heritage from the Lord. Parents are to demonstrate to their children God's pattern for marriage.

Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth. Although no one knows the day or time He will come, we must be ready and proclaim His name to the nations.
